Pete Johnson Head of Creation
Hi
I’m Pete Johnson. I am a Global Executive Creative with over 25 years of entertainment and advertising experience. I am looking for a creative leadership position at a brand or a creative agency that (ideally) has combined great values with their business goals. I am looking for an opportunity to grow a creative or marketing department from the ground up or an opportunity to rebuild and reimagine same.
Over the years, I have developed a creative and leadership philosophy based on Love + Respect. I believe world-class creative teams succeed by focusing on the right People, inspired and nourished by the right Culture, to make the best Creative of their careers in the service of the brand and the consumers.
Throughout my career, I have held key leadership positions within renowned global organizations. As the Global Head of Creative for LEGO, I successfully oversaw the creative direction of the brand, contributing to its global recognition and continued success. Additionally, my tenure as the Senior Vice President/Executive Creative Director at Nickelodeon and Senior Vice President/Group Creative Director at Saatchi & Saatchi provided me with invaluable insights into the entertainment and advertising industries, further enhancing my ability to drive brand growth and innovation.
I am very proud of my ability to blend the worlds of storytelling and entertainment with the strategic disciplines of advertising and marketing. This unique fusion has allowed me to develop and execute integrated brand marketing campaigns that resonate with audiences on a global scale. By fostering creative cultures that empower and inspire my team members, I have consistently facilitated an environment where individuals can thrive, resulting in exceptional work that exceeds expectations.
And finally, I am an avid runner and have completed two marathons (Minneapolis 2019 and Copenhagen 2022). When I am not working or running, I can often be found at Hacienda La Chima, a dairy farm in Ecuador that has been in my family for over one hundred years.
